Total export value for the month reached USD 121.5 million, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth. The U.S. remained the largest buyer, while domestic pepper prices declined slightly on December 6.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), Vietnam exported 18,582 tonnes of pepper in November 2025, including 16,322 tonnes of black pepper and 2,260 tonnes of white pepper, generating USD 121.5 million in export earnings.
Compared to October, export volume fell 4.4%, while export value declined 6.2%. However, on a year-on-year basis, shipments still increased 16.5% in volume and 14.2% in value, marking the fourth straight month of export growth.
The average export price for black pepper in November reached USD 6,519/tonne, up 1.2% month-on-month, while the price for white pepper averaged USD 8,072/tonne, down 3.8% from October.
The United States remained Vietnam’s largest pepper market in November with 4,587 tonnes, up 7.1% from the previous month and accounting for 24.7% of total exports. Other notable markets included:

𑇐 China: 1,177 tonnes (-3%)
𑇐 Germany: 678 tonnes (+21.7%)
𑇐 Thailand: 657 tonnes (-14.9%)
By the end of November 2025, Vietnam had exported 225,009 tonnes of pepper of all types, with total export revenue reaching a record USD 1.52 billion. Of this, black pepper contributed USD 1.25 billion, while white pepper generated USD 262.3 million.
Despite export volume falling 4.4% year-on-year (a decrease of 10,326 tonnes), total export turnover surged 24.4%, equivalent to an increase of USD 297.6 million. Compared to the same period in 2023, export volume was down 7.7%.
Average export prices for the first 11 months stood at:

𑇐 White pepper: USD 8,636/tonne (+USD 2,175 vs 2024)
The main export markets during the period included:
𑇐 United States: 48,849 tonnes (21.7%, -28% Year-over-Year)
𑇐 UAE: 19,930 tonnes (8.9%, +28.6% Year-over-Year)
𑇐 China: 17,744 tonnes (7.9%, +83.7% Year-over-Year)
𑇐 India: 11,750 tonnes (+18% Year-over-Year)
𑇐 Germany: 10,876 tonnes (-23.2% Year-over-Year)
As of December 6, domestic pepper prices declined by VND 500 - 1,500 per kg, falling to VND 147,000 - 147,500 per kg. Export prices for Vietnamese black pepper remained stable at USD 6,500 - 6,700/tonne for the 500 g/l and 550 g/l grades, while white pepper continued to trade at USD 9,250/tonne.
